St. Luke's UMC Midtown wraps up the Glory series on Christmas Eve, with the birth of our Savior. In this season of Advent we have focused on glory, and the majority of times glory is mentioned is associated with the shepherds. The first is when it says, an angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds and “the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.” God’s glory made them feel afraid. Why? Because in the Old Testament it was believed that a person could not look at God and live. To be in the presence of God was a frightening prospect. Listen as Rev.
